Deltaquip has sold and serviced the Firebird 1600 since 2018. It has proven to be a reliable tool, while offering rugged dependable productivity. The Firebird 1600 was designed to withstand daily use by contractors and will provide many years of service when maintained properly. Avoid sudden movement such as dropping or throwing, as the heating element integrity is most vulnerable when hot. When shutting off any hot air tool, remember to set the heat to 0 and run the motor for about two minutes to allow the element to cool properly. Blow forced air through the cooled down motor and element housings periodically, to keep the internal components running at peak performance.
